The film is based on a true story in which a group of strippers scammed wealthy Wall Street men shortly after the stock market crash of 2008. It's a sort of Robin Hood heist story, in which the women steal from their rich, jerk clients to get more money for themselves.
The star-studded cast includes Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, Cardi B (who is open about her real-life past as a stripper), Lili Reinhart, Keke Palmer, and even Lizzo, just to name a few.
The trailer features some knockout one-liners like, "When I was a kid, I always wanted to work with animals. I was close," plus pole-dancing lessons from JLo herself. Watch the entire thing for yourself below.
We all know this ponytail-sporting, slightly nerdy, detective-whiz Betty Cooper, played by Lili Reinhart.
Lili Reinhart got her start on the CW show Riverdale, based on Archie Comics. Her girl-next-door vibe and sleek blonde ponytail encapsulate everything that is Betty Cooper, but she stunned movie industry heads with her incredible acting chops, too. Now she's taking on heartier roles in movies like Hustlers and the upcoming Chemical Hearts.
Watch the whole trailer here featuring Reinhart's complete transformation into Annabelle.
The trailer opens up with some incredible pole-dancing lessons from the triple threat queen herself, JLo. The women figure out a way to scam their skeezy clients, and the rest turns into a hedonistic tale of greed gone too far.
The film is led by Lorene Scafaria, who directed the dark comedy Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. Scafaria shared that the most-desired cast mate was Cardi B, whom she "chased for two years," according to Vulture. The New York City native and former stripper was the perfect star to capture all that makes this comedic heist story so bizarre and great.
Not a lot is revealed about Reinhart's character specifically, yet. But her one line in the trailer, a desperate "no, no, no," is an ominous foreshadowing of what's to come.
