Six years have passed since the final "Twilight" movie came out, but Kristen Stewart's career has only gotten hotter.
Today's news is proof positive of that: It's been announced that Stewart will star in the upcoming "Charlie's Angels" reboot.
Yes, that means you can fangirl over K-Stew all over again.
While it'll be tough to follow in the footsteps of the former iconic Angels — Lucy Liu, Cameron Diaz, and Drew Barrymore in 2000, and the original trio, Farrah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith, and Kate Jackson in the 1970s — the three new actresses are up for the challenge.
Banks' new version will pick up where the old films left off, with The Townsend Agency having gone global and expanded to include multiple highly-trained teams. This particular storyline will focus on just one of those teams — K-Stew, Balinska, and Scott.
"'Charlie’s Angels,' for me, is one of the original brands to celebrate the empowered woman since its debut in the ’70s," Banks told Variety.
"This film honors the legacy of Charles Townsend [AKA the Charlie in "Charlie’s Angels"] and his agency while introducing a new era of modern and global Angels. I couldn’t be more excited to work with Kristen, Naomi, and Ella to bring this chapter to fans around the world."
