Iconic '90s girl group the Spice Girls are back at work, and they're coming back to the big screen!

Four out of the five members (excluding Posh Spice, aka Victoria Beckham) are currently on a reunion tour. Their empowering songs have lived on through generations. In 1997, the girls starred in a pop star musical comedy called Spice World. Now all five of the women are lending their voices to an animated feature, according to The Hollywood Reporter

Nostalgia culture is running strong, with Tamagotchis making a return, ’90s-themed makeup lines, and Disney remakes of classic ’90s feature films

With this new Spice Girls movie, it appears we have time-traveled back to the era of skinny eyebrows, blue eye shadow, and dark-lined mauve lips. No complaints here!

The new animated movie will feature Spice Girl classics and new songs.

We're not judging if you decided to jam to Spice Girls hits like "Wannabe" in preparation for the new movie. Melanie Brown (Scary), Emma Bunton (Baby), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty), Geri Halliwell Horner (Ginger), and Victoria Beckham (Posh) will all play a character based on their Spice Girl alter egos.

The movie is still in the early development stages and could have a release date in 2020. Paramount Animation revealed that the movie will also feature new Spice Girls tunes to add to our Shuffles!

Mel B, aka Scary Spice, is always down for a reunion with her gals.

Brown revealed in a 2018 interview that she never gets sick of performing with her girls.

She's been keeping busy with her work on America's Got Talent as a judge, but season 13 will be her last. She and host Heidi Klum decided to leave the show after the spin-off show The Champions was released.

She shared this behind-the-scenes shot during the Spice Girls reunion tour after a rainy Bristol show: "...we danced together ALL night in the rain and me and you Bristol, we didn’t care about the rain!!! Till I got off stage and I was an ice block but it was all worth it for you guys."

Victoria Beckham is busy with her fashion line and her happy family, but even she is making an appearance in the upcoming film.

The animated film is rumored to be a superhero movie, according to Variety. Each girl will have their own superpower based on their persona, so Posh could have some kind of iteration of her real-life design power. Beckham is an entrepreneur and runs her own luxury design brand. She and her husband, retired soccer star David Beckham, are raising their four children: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.

Emma Bunton, aka Baby Spice, is loving the reunion tour.

Bunton has shared multiple shots of herself sharing the stage with the girl group, which was founded in 1994. One of the performances Baby Spice was most excited for was their stop at Wembley Stadium. "Trying to stay calm. One more sleep before #wembleystadium!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she posted on Instagram along with two images of her wearing feminine sparkly dresses and fluffy shawls.

Geri Halliwell Horner is still rocking her signature fiery red locks.

Halliwell (Ginger Spice) shared this relaxing post after the group's Scotland performance. She posed in a bubble bath with a crown upon her red hair. According to Paramount Animation's president Mireille Soria, all five of the women are very involved in the making of the animated film. The last time the five girls were seen on film together was more than two decades ago in the 1997 Spice World movie.

Melanie Chisolm, known as Mel C or Sporty Spice, has been rocking her signature tracksuits with some new flair.

Sporty hasn't lost her energetic spirit since the group's conception, as seen in this peppy Instagram shot. "Can't wait for the show tonight! Coventry, we're coming for you," she wrote on Instagram.

The reunion tour will finish up in London on June 15. Of course, Beckham didn't make an appearance on the world tour, but no hard feelings. She shared her support of the girls with an Instagram post before their inaugural performance in Dublin

Initially a flop, the Spice Girls movie is now a staple for '90s babies everywhere.

The 1997 flick is about the girls' rise to fame in a fictionalized version of their real-life success. Based in London, the Spice Girls have an adventure aboard their double-decker tour bus leading up to a performance in front of thousands of fans.

More than two decades later, the girls are reuniting on-screen to voice animated versions of their Spice alter egos.

No release date or title has been set, but stay tuned for more info about this new film from the Spice Girls.
