Disney dropped a new short teaser for Toy Story 4 on Monday, much to the delight of '90s kids everywhere. Along with Woody and Buzz, the clip showcased the sheriff's leading lady, who was rocking a brand-new look.

While Annie Potts' Bo Peep was missing from the third installment of the film franchise, she's back in full force in the newest movie. Even better, she's ditched her pink polka-dot dress for a bright blue jumpsuit and a cape. And fans are definitely feeling the makeover.

On Monday, Disney released a cute little teaser with a focus on Bo Peep's return.

In the clip, the shepherdess busts through the screen looking fierce AF. Rather than her typical pink-and-white polka-dot getup, she's dressed in a blue jumpsuit with a pink belt and a pink hair bow. It's quite the look.

Toy Story 4 will mark Bo Peep's first theatrical appearance in 20 years!

The last time she appeared on-screen was in Toy Story 2 in 1999. Fans were disappointed she was absent from Toy Story 3. The toys say she was one of the casualties of a yard sale during the film.

According to Josh Cooley, director of Toy Story 4, "Bo's taken control of her own destiny."

"While Woody was watching Andy grow up, Bo gathered dust until she took it upon herself to head out into the world. And when Woody shows up, they can't believe that they've found each other again," he continued.

The side-by-side comparison is astonishing. She definitely wins the 10-year challenge.

She looks like a warrior now. Life on the road has changed her, and poofy dresses just aren't convenient when you're roughing it in the real world. Just look at that power stance!

According to Potts, who voices Bo Peep, "She is modern, independent, capable, and confident."

"Bo is written and conceived to be inspiring, as she has weathered life's ups and downs with grace. I aspire to that," she continued.

Needless to say, people are loving the new (and dare I say improved?) Bo Peep.

And Twitter is full of people making jokes. "I want to know what Bo Peep's been through," one user wrote. "Has she been scavenging on Jakku for 20 years or what?"

The comparisons to Rey from Star Wars are abounding.

Hey, both are badass fictional characters who've survived rough conditions, right? Of course, one is a Jakku scavenger who was toughened by life in a harsh desert and one is, well, a toy.

Some fans even renamed the film after Bo Peep's life-changing journey.

"Herds of Prey: The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Bo Peep," one fan on Twitter wrote. Perhaps she should write a petition to Disney and Pixar for this to be the official alternate title.

Another asked if Bo Peep is from Toy Story or Infinity War part 2.

The Avengers/Toy Story crossover is the film I never knew I needed to see. Imagine if Bo decided to ditch Woody for Iron Man. What a time!

One fan even suggested Bo's story line could set up the film franchise for a spin-off.

"If we find out that Bo Peep has gone on some soul-finding journey all this time and get a spin-off movie, then I'm honestly ready for it," they wrote.

BTW, this isn't the first sneak peek we've seen of the new film. We've also met Ducky and Bunny, two carnival toys.

Ducky and Bunny are voiced by Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele. In other words, they are bound to be hilarious additions to the group of toys we know and love.

We've also seen a slightly longer teaser trailer with a reluctant spork turned toy named Forky.

"The world of Toy Story is built upon the idea that everything in the world has a purpose. A toy’s purpose is to be there for its child. But what about toys that are made out of other objects? Forky is a toy that Bonnie made out of a disposable spork, so he’s facing a crisis. He wants to fulfill his purpose as a spork, but now has a new toy purpose thrust upon him," Cooley said.

BTW, in case you forgot: When we last saw Woody and the gang, they'd just been transferred from grown-up Andy to young Bonnie.

It was an incredibly heart-wrenching ending to the film franchise that many of us grew up with. Now we're getting a brand-new story to soothe our aching hearts.

Anyway, Toy Story 4 hits theaters this summer!

Here’s the official synopsis for the film: "Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called ‘Forky’ to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy."
