At this point, we might as well stop wondering when Rihanna's ninth album will get here because fans have been waiting for ages.

Just when we've stopped obsessing over the possibility of new music, the artist shares another bit of information that gives us hope again. The latest news is that Pharrell Williams is working on the album, and the newly single Rihanna will spend her Valentine's Day working in the studio with the renowned producer.

Fans have been barraging the singer with questions about when the album will arrive, and it seems like she's totally sick of it. Instead, Rihanna's been focusing on her many other lucrative business ventures like Fenty Beauty, Savage X Fenty, and her fashion brand.

The newly single Rihanna told The Cut about her Valentine's Day collection and teased about new music.

It was recently reported that Rihanna and her billionaire boyfriend of three years, Hassan Jameel, split. Now she's spending Valentine's Day in the studio and promoting her holiday lingerie collection. According to The Cut, Rihanna spilled some info about the ninth album at an event for her fashion brand.

The entrepreneur said, "I’m going to be in the studio. I’m so excited actually. I can’t say who I’m working with, but it’s somebody I’ve been wanting to work with for a long time ... Okay, I’ll tell you. Pharrell.”

Pharrell Williams has worked with so many artists and is one of the best-known producers in the industry.

Rihanna has worked with Williams in the past, on his band N.E.R.D's song "Lemon." The surprise announcement comes nearly four years after she released her previous album Anti, and fans are anxious for new music. Now at least we know she's working with another producer and is going to be in the studio ASAP. Surely, she's just making sure that everything is perfect before it's released.

Rihanna has been having fun teasing fans since last year.

Rihanna has joked for years now about the new music. Her fans are more than ready to say the least. In one post she wrote, "update: me listening to R9 by myself and refusing to release it."

Rihanna seems to be getting tired of fans asking where the album is.

One Rihanna fan account compiled all of the responses Ri-Ri has made to her fans who are begging for the music. Honestly, she's getting a little sassy. I'm sure it's hard to have so many expectations, especially considering she's dropped so many other impressive projects in the past year.

Rihanna seems to have been solely focused on Fenty, until now.

Up until now, it appeared that Rihanna was focusing on her fashion label. Thankfully, she'll be in the studio making music with Williams, and all will be right in the world. There is no release date in sight, but hopefully it will be sometime this year.
