Summer is great and all, but for the thick thigh squad, it means one thing: chub rub. I can recall numerous warm weather days when I had to run home because my thighs were on fire. The dilemma of cute skirt vs. screaming thigh rash is actually a really tough one for me — because I am a slave to fashion. This is all to say that I have tried a lot of hacks for preventing and lessening chub rub, the four best of which are listed below. Godspeed, my sisters.

Deodorant

This is my first line of anti-chub-rub defense. Applying deodorant to your inner thighs is the smoothest way to combat chub rub. I like Degree’s MotionSense deodorant; it prevents the sweat that causes the rash.

Coconut Oil

The amount of uses for coconut oil seems to be endless, and now you can add chub rub repellant to the list. Take about half a spoonful and rub it in your hands until it melts. Then apply it to the inner sides of your thighs. SWISH.

This is for my luxury ladies. Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse isn't cheap, but it's worth every penny. Spray this on your inner thighs and you'll have a comfortable glide without the damp slipperiness of coconut oil.
