Instagram is at first glance a place for flawless makeup and lots of FaceTune, but we all know things aren't *that* perfect IRL. It's no wonder so many women are now sharing what actually goes into their looks — proudly showing off their real skin and real bodies, just as we all want to see.

But dig a little deeper and you'll find the UK-based artist has an important message to share with her audience that's related to her skin condition.

The artist's decision to show her eczema on Instagram was not an easy one, especially since she often gets flack from haters.

"I refuse to let the haters get the better of me. I am not my condition. I am Bronya," she wrote. In another post, Bronya revealed she's on steroids and antibiotics for her condition.

In a recent Instagram story, the makeup artist got super real about how other people perceive her and how it all affects her self esteem.

Her comment section is (mostly) filled with people praising her for her openness about having a skin condition.

And she's inspired even more followers to share their own struggles with eczema.

Over 31 million people in the US have eczema, so it's no wonder Bronya's story is so relatable. But if her IG feed proves anything, it's that you can be all the things you want — a makeup artist, a woman with eczema, and an inspiring 20-year-old with a big future ahead.
