It may be fall, but the new Giambattista Valli x H&M collaboration will have you excitedly counting the days until spring. The dazzling collection is full of blooming flowers, hearts, and animal prints galore. Valli is known for his brightly-colored, optimistic, and luxurious approach to couture formalwear; the Italian designer told British Vogue that he's "not a designer who dresses someone to go to work."

Indeed, the Giambattista Valli x H&M collection is about bringing that grandness into the everyday world, without sacrificing the tulle trimmings, splendor, and design ethos that is part of his brand's DNA. "I don’t want the collaboration to be a parody," said Valli. "I want the collection to be totally faithful and honest to the customer."

Keep reading for more details about the collection, including the Giambattista Valli x H&M release date, prices, and pieces that are destined to be highly coveted.

Womenswear, menswear, and tons of accessories round out the full collection.

All genders are invited to participate in the Giambattista Valli x H&M collection. For womenswear, the collection includes dresses, gowns, outerwear, shoes, and accessories. Menswear features outerwear, knit sweaters, suiting, underwear, socks, and denim. No kids sizes this time, this one is just for the grown-ups.

The pieces will range in price from 14.99€ (about $16.50 USD) for a pair of knee-high socks to 399€ (about $440 USD) for a tulle gown. Keep in mind that actual USD prices may be different depending on exchange rates when the collection drops on November 7.

The clothes are as extra as you'd expect, but not so over-the-top that you couldn't wear it to the grocery store.

The collection doesn't shy away from Valli's maximalist, anything-goes approach to couture. Using his signature floral motifs as a starting point, he expands his aesthetic for a broader audience with prints galore. There are polka dots, animal prints, logo hosiery, and Medieval paintings — this collection spares nothing in its extravagance.

Gowns galore for the party gal or that Miss Havisham spinster life.

There's no greater pleasure than wearing a formal gown around the house while watching Law & Order, and this collection will let you live out your Miss Havisham dreams. What, doesn't everyone put on a full gala look for a TV binge night? The gown pictured above is begging for a spot in your closet next to witch cloaks and old vintage T-shirts.

Get ready to see this dress everywhere.

This dress is the most expensive piece in the Giambattista Valli x H&M collection, and it is certainly going to be the most coveted. For us regular schmegular folks, it's hard to envision an occasion to wear a red carpet-worthy gown, but that's the fun of crazy clothes: you wear it because you can.

It's total camera bait, so you can expect to see it everywhere — Kendall Jenner is even modeling the gown in the campaign images. "There’s something about how big and fun they are that throws you into a different world, like a character almost," Jenner said to Vogue.

The accessories are so precious, you won't be able to wait until Valentine's Day to wear them.

Valli loves all things precious and frilly, and his clothes scream Valentine's Day. For the Giambattista Valli x H&M collection, he used hearts everywhere: on sunglasses, tees, and jewelry. But this adorable heart-shaped piece works equally well as a necklace or a tiny handbag.

Forget gender — you're going to want to raid the menswear section, too.

That painting print men's sweater is destined to become a favorite in your closet, no matter how you express your gender. The Giambattista Valli x H&M menswear pieces also include comfy acid-wash cargo jeans and a sequined black jacket that is TDF.

The full collections drop on November 7, so start saving those coins!

Like most of H&M's luxury designer collabs, it's not as expensive as paying for the designer's ready-to-wear pieces, but it certainly is not H&M cheap. Luckily, the collection doesn't hit stores and until November 7, so that gives you a couple paychecks to stash away. But act fast, because if the Giambattista Valli x H&M collection is like any of H&M's other collabs, it will sell out in a snap.
