The success of the high-low Louis Vuitton x Supreme collaboration had skaters everywhere salivating. It only makes sense that other brands would follow suit.

The latest streetwear-luxury marriage is Vans and Karl Lagerfeld (yes, the creative director for Chanel). They're combining forces for an affordable collection that's sure to sell FAST, according to WWD.

Vans and Karl Lagerfeld will drop sneakers and clothing merch on September 7!

But what does a Vans x Lagerfeld collab look like, exactly? Think the skating brand's iconic checkerboards meshed with an image of Lagerfeld's face on six sneaker styles. I'm already a fan.

But if there's one thing Lagerfeld is known for, it's luxury. Styles such as the laceless Old Skool, Sk8-Hi platform, and Classic Slip-on will get an upgrade by being made in Lagerfeld's iconic quilted leather style, according to WWD.

The apparel will be pretty cool as well. There'll be a leather backpack with a "K" in a quilted leather design, and also a T-shirt with a picture of Lagerfeld wearing a tie with Vans' checkerboard design.

This all sounds very cool and luxurious, but my question is: Will it be able to take a beating at the skate park?

Better yet, the collection is pretty affordable. The pieces will range in price from $40 to $300 — ballin' on a budget for sure.

The first look at the collection will be in Berlin at the Bread & Butter Trade show — but if you can't make it, be sure to visit select Karl Lagerfeld and Vans stores once the line drops on September 7! Make your inner sk8er boi proud.
