Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle brand Goop has decided to become more inclusive, as opposed to its normal means of catering to the thin and rich. The brand has teamed up with body-positivity powerhouse Universal Standard to create a five-piece clothing collection in sizes 00 to 40. Confused? Us too.
Goop is widely known for its fat-shaming and fake-scientific content, as well as its "fast weight loss" advice. Paltrow herself is notoriously smug, fatphobic, and TBH, full of shit most of the time. Universal Standard, on the other hand, is leading the size-inclusive fashion revolution. They champion women of all sizes, shapes, and colors for being themselves. So, a partnership between the two brands makes little-to-no sense, and Universal Standard fans aren't just confused about it — they're pissed.
In fact, many have already disowned the brand for its poor-taste in partnership.
