Attention, witches! Netflix has finally gifted us with the first official trailer of "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina." And despite sharing the name Sabrina Spellman, there are very few similarities in the new series brought to you by "Riverdale" showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and the original ABC sitcom. Let's just say "chilling" is definitely the right word for it.

The trailer shows Sabrina Spellman, played by Kiernan Shipka, celebrating her 16th birthday. If you recall, the original "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" all started on her 16th birthday as well. But that's about where the similarities stop, it seems.

Based on the trailer, "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" is a supremely dark take on the teenage witch tale. It gives us classic-horror-slash-occult vibes and we are living for it. Let's break it down, though, shall we?

The trailer teases us with a series of shots while an eerie voice sings "Happy Birthday" in the background. One thing we see is the Spellman Mortuary, where we're guessing Sabrina's aunts practice their witchcraft in private.

Next up we see Sabrina's school, with a look into a class learning about demons. Totally casual stuff here folks.

Then we get a glimpse at her locking lips with a boy who definitely looks like Harvey Kinkle. An iconic couple, if I do say so myself.

We even get a peek at the notorious spell book!

While in "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" a spell gone awry led to goofy, comical consequences, it seems as though spells can lead to much darker things in this series.

Speaking of darker things, who are these skull-faced demon children and what are they doing here?

And, uh, why is Sabrina bathing in the woods?

That doesn't seem safe.

Most important, who is this terrifying horned creature attending her birthday party? We have so many questions.

Anyway, if this trailer is any indication, we're in for a helluva treat!

Although, fans of the original "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" might have to pick their jaws up off the floor. This is not the Spellmans you remember.
