Last week, HBO Max announced that a very special Friends reunion was coming in May, and we all collectively lost our cool.
The classic '90s sitcom was beloved by so many, and has superfans in celebrities like Selena Gomez, Charlie Puth, and more. Now the show is getting a mini reboot and we couldn't be more excited.
Most of the Friends stars have kept up with acting, specifically Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), and David Schwimmer (Ross). This will be the first time all six of the original cast members will take the screen together again.
David Schwimmer as Ross Geller
David Schwimmer has had a lofty acting career since his tenure as the archaeology and paleontology professor Ross Geller. Schwimmer starred as Robert Kardashian in the American Crime Story series. Now he'll be back as the goofy, lovable older brother of Monica and the love interest of Rachel.
Jennifer Aniston as Rachel Green
Aniston has had a wonderful resurgence in the past year, starring in the award-winning Apple TV+ series The Morning Show. The 51-year-old just posed in quite possibly her hottest magazine photo shoot ever, and she shares tons of photos from her personal life on Instagram. Rachel Green would be so proud.
Courteney Cox as Monica Geller
Courteney Cox has continued starring in TV shows, including FX's Dirt and ABC's Cougar Town. Monica was a notorious neat freak who often gave her friends a hard time, but was always the mothering role. Quite possibly the most beloved relationship on the show was between Monica and Chandler, the two best friends who fell for each other seemingly by surprise.
Matt LeBlanc as Joey Tribbiani
The flirty lovable dunce Joey has most likely made millions in his acting career by now, similarly to LeBlanc. The actor has continued to star in various series, sometimes as himself, like in the Golden Globe–winning show Episodes for Showtime. Meanwhile, he's also taken advantage of his natural charisma as a presenter in the British docuseries Top Gear.
