The Pretty Little Liars are back! Well, two of them are, and they're on a brand-new show dubbed Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists. After the original series ended, I. Marlene King let us know a spinoff was in the works — after a year and a half of waiting, we finally have an official trailer.

Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish will return as Alison DiLaurentis and Mona Vanderwaal, respectively, and they'll be joined by a new all-star cast. And judging by the preview, the spinoff will bring us a whole lot of the same spookiness as the original.

In addition to the trailer, Freeform officially announced The Perfectionists premiere date, so we can start planning our watch parties now!

Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, aka the official spinoff of your favorite Freeform show, just dropped its first trailer.

The trailer keeps things pretty mysterious, in true PLL fashion, but right away, it become clear that Alison is wrestling with some pretty powerful philosophical questions. For example, is it OK to murder a murderer?

Yes, two of the OG liars star in the spinoff: Sasha Pieterse as the one and only Alison DiLaurentis and Janel Parrish as Mona Vanderwaal.

These two have a lot of history, so it'll be pretty interesting to see how they get along in the new series.

The show will take place in Beacon Heights, a seemingly perfect little college town in the Pacific Northwest.

Of course, Rosewood seemed perfect, too, before A came along. Then, well, you know what happened.

In the series, both Alison and Mona have relocated to work at Beach Heights University.

Alison will be starting a new teaching job at the university while Mona has taken a staff position. It's unclear what Mona's job even entails.

Because this is Pretty Little Liars, the series will kick off with a brutal murder on campus, obviously.

Naturally, as the trailer shows, Alison is right there when it all goes down. It's not PLL without a murder mystery.

If you're wondering where the heck Emily and the twins are, it will all be explained when you watch the show, apparently. Alison appears to be unpacking a photo of them in the trailer.

Alison, Emily, and the twins were all living together happily when Pretty Little Liars ended, if you remember correctly. According to I. Marlene King, the twins, who were infants when the original series ended, will be toddlers when the show premieres.

Aside from Pieterse and Parrish, the cast will include some names you might recognize and others you'll hear for the first time!

The PLL: The Perfectionists cast includes Sofia Carson, Sydney Park, Kelly Rutherford, Eli Brown, Hayley Erin, Chris Mason, and Graeme Thomas King, to name a few.

Sofia Carson will play the role of Ava Jalali.

Ava is a trendsetting blogger and coder, who strives to be a fashion icon. She's also a student at Beacon Heights University.

Sydney Park, of The Walking Dead, will play Caitlin Park-Lewis.

Caitlin is described as smart, driven, and a perfectionist. "The perfect daughter of two perfect mothers, Caitlin has set her sights on following in her mother’s Senatorial footsteps," the description reads.

Hayley Erin, of General Hospital, will play a mysterious, unknown character.

Love this crew @prettylittleliars #plltheperfectionists ????

Although Freeform has announced her as a cast member of The Perfectionists, there's no word yet on who she'll play.

Kelly Rutherford, who you might recognize as Serena's mom from Gossip Girl, will play Claire Hotchkiss.

Claire is the cofounder (along with her husband) of Hotchkiss Industries and Beacon Heights University.

Newcomer Eli Brown will play Dylan Walker, his first-ever professional role.

Not bad for your first gig. #PLLThePerfectionists

Dylan is a gifted cellist who grew up feeling judged in his small hometown and now feels the need to be the best at everything. He is deeply committed to his two passions, music and his boyfriend Andrew, played by Evan Bittencourt.

Graeme Thomas King, of Greta, will play Jeremy Beckett.

Jeremy is a brilliant young scientist who works at Beacon Heights’ prestigious Hotchkiss Technologies.

As for the rest of the characters, you'll have to watch the show to find out!

So far these are the only other roles we know: Chris Mason will play Nolan Hotchkiss, Noah Gray-Cabey will play Mason, Garrett Wareing will play Zach, Nick Cassidy will play Luke, and Phillip Rhys will play Michael.

Similar to the original series, The Perfectionists is based on a book by Sara Shepard.

However, the book has no connection to the Pretty Little Liars series. It's an entirely new story about a group of perfectionists who come up with a plan to murder womanizer Nolan.

The show will premiere on Freeform on March 20, 2019.

Sound on, bitches. Coming Spring. #PLLThePerfectionists

While you anxiously wait, you can watch the trailer over and over again or just binge the OG Pretty Little Liars from the beginning. I will definitely be doing both.
