The nostalgia has always been strong in Stranger Things, but season three has fans truly living vicariously through the young teens. This is partly thanks to the incredible '80s gear that people are missing these days.
The six best friends have a new playground — the Starcourt Mall. One sequence shared between Max (Sadie Sink) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) shows the two girls running through the shopping center in an epic nod to '80s teen culture. The duo tried on trendy clothes for the time, ate ice cream, and partook in cheesy glamour shots.
Fans took to Twitter to express their joy at seeing iconic trends from the '80s play out on-screen in such an accurate way. Some also wanted to re-create the old days by finding fashion dupes for the incredible styles seen in the show.
Brands have collaborated with the show to create lines inspired by the style of the '80s, but also just shopping at your nearest vintage store could achieve similar results.
