Beyoncé just did the most Beyoncé thing that Beyoncé has ever done. The 35-year-old superstar kicked off Black History Month by announcing her pregnancy on Instagram.

In a statement signed "The Carters," Beyoncé and her husband, Jay-Z, dropped the surprising news on an unsuspecting internet.

"We would like to share our love and happiness," the statement read. "We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes."

It is the latter part of the cryptic statement that's sent the internet into a frenzy. Is the "Lemonade" singer pregnant with twins?

Beyoncé's mother, Tina Lawson, confirmed the news on Instagram.

WOWI don't have to keep the secret anymore????I am soooo happy ❤️❤️God is so good❤️ twin blessings

Beyoncé chose to reveal her pregnancy on February 1. Many are speculating that she purposely chose this date.

Apparently, the pregnancy announcement is the start of Black History Year.

It's also a shift from the cynicism that's been prevalent on social media since Donald Trump's election in November.

Of course, two babies joining Blue Ivy Carter won't stop Beyoncé from dominating 2017.

If you thought she couldn't top the surprise release of "Formation" and "Lemonade," you must not know Beyoncé.
