Philadelphia-headquartered Anthropologie is like heaven on earth for some people, with its whimsical clothes and home decor. For others, it's just a laughable, overpriced hipster store. And recently, even the former were mocking the retailer over a particularly questionable listing on the website.

How much would you pay for this bundle of sticks?

No, this is not a trick question. This is a real product listed on Anthropologie's website and it costs a whopping $42.

If you're wondering if there's something special about these sticks that makes them worth more, there's not. They are literally just sticks wrapped together in a bundle.

These twigs are listed on Anthropologie as "birchwood" and "imported" (from?), and the bundle, which is wrapped in two pieces of brown string, includes 20 branches. How magical!

Oh, and just in case you really want those sticks, but $42 is out of your price range for yard debris, you can save a few dollars on these "faux birch branches." They come in a set of three and will set you back $38.

Needless to say, Twitter is totally losing it over #TwigGate2018.

The jokes practically write themselves.

Even devoted shoppers are baffled by the listing.

Anyway, if you're looking for something to match that bowl of dirt you have laying around, this is the perfect decorative choice. But rather than dishing out $42, just walk outside instead.
