We have good news: Companies that produce pads and tampons have not only realized that period blood is red, but they've also realized that we don't want to see menstruating women only portrayed as prancing angels dressed in all-white.

Easy, a Canadian pad and tampon subscription service, is being applauded for featuring women's period blood in a totally unprecedented (read: natural) way.

Each of the "No Shame" ads feature women dealing with periods in ways that don't include calling "Aunt Flo" or prancing in a field filled with daisies.

Is that... red? As in, the color of period blood? And the man isn't DISGUSTED by it? Whaaaaat?!

It also showed men as partners, not as grossed out dudes who want absolutely nothing to do with a woman on her period.

The guy in the ad above doesn't strike me as the kind of moron who would say, "red week is head week," so I am automatically 3,000,000% here for it.

That woman looks like she gives literally zero fucks that she was caught bleeding in her perfect bathtub.

Nah, she's just enjoying her bath and looking out the window, trying to find the fucks she's "supposed" to give.

One woman even has a tampon string hanging out.

And look at her, enjoying her day at the beach with her friend. So shameless.

Hopefully this will inspire other companies that capitalize on women's periods to actually include a more realistic picture, not just the idealized one.
